Commitment - Educational - Fun - Joining a Group - Long-Term This year 5th graders will have the opportunity to choose from the following instruments: Flute - Clarinet - Trumpet - Trombone/Baritone - Percussion (Bells and Snare Drum; 5th graders do not learn to play drum-set) Opportunities to switch to the Saxophone, French Horn, Oboe, or Tuba will be offered to students while in Junior High or High School. The 5th Grade Band meets before school at 7:45-8:15 once or twice a week. Monthly schedules are sent home so you know what day(s) your child has band. Mrs. Angela Osborn - Sponsor BPC Gardeners is open to 3rd, 4th or 5th grade students who enjoy gardening and beautifying our school. Our meetings are after school on Tuesdays unless otherwise noted. Students will help maintain all school gardens at the Elementary, enjoy hands on activities, get dirty, create, serve others and participate in other activities that apply. Parents and community members are encouraged to participate.

Mrs. Andrea Ferguson - Sponsor Singing Jaguars is open to any 4th or 5th grade student who enjoys singing and making music with their friends. Students will be introduced to the basics of good singing plus lots of fun musical games. The repertoire includes popular and standard choral music. The Singing Jaguars perform at two school concerts each year plus a few other performances for the community. Rehearsals take place after school on Wednesdays.
